Billboards Leiderdorp 2009 Billboard 1 Een bouwbord als kunstwerk; het is een verwijzing naar het verleden van de locatie; het Samsomveld in Leiderdorp. De gemeente is voornemens hier nieuwbouw te plegen. Door proefopgravingen is gebleken dat hier een vroegmiddeleeuws haven was, waar Leithon uit is ontstaan, de voorloper van Leiderdorp. Billboard 2 Een bouwbord waarop aangegeven wordt dat er aan de weg gewerkt wordt. Hier liep aan de oever van de Rijn de grens van het Romeinse Rijk, de Limes geheten. Through test excavations showed that there was an early medieval harbour, which has originated Leithon, the forerunner of Leiderdorp. Billboard 2 A construction sign which indicated that they’re working on the road. Here, at the banks of the Rhine, was the frontier of the Roman Empire, called the Limes.
